Payment and Cancellation Policies

Please note the the following policies apply only to bookings made directly with us. Bookings made through independent websites and agencies are governed by separate policies.

  1. Bookings are only confirmed on receipt of a deposit; which is 50% of the rental cost or more.
  2. The balance of the rental amount together with the breakage deposit is payable 4 weeks prior to occupation.
  3. For rental requests made within 45 days of occupation, the full amount in addition to the breakage deposit is due on confirmation of booking.
  4. Should you wish to cancel your booking, a cancellation fee will apply
  5. 45 –30 days prior to the rental period, a fee of 10% of the total rental cost
  6. 29 – 14 days prior to the rental period, a fee of 50% of the total rental cost
  7. Less than 14 days prior to rental period, a fee of 100% of the total rental cost
  8. Partial refunds may apply, is at the sole discretion of the homeowner, and dependent on the ability to re-let the house for the period reserved.
  9. No refunds will be made to guests for departures made earlier than the dates booked.
  10. The breakage deposit will be refunded within 7 days of departure, and after deductions, if any, for breakages, penalties, fines or damages.
  11. An administration fee of R300 will be deducted from the deposit if a confirmed booking is cancelled.
